Funding your cases We accept both privately funded and legal aid cases. We hold a Legal Aid Agency contract for criminal investigations and proceedings and would be happy to discuss your eligibility for public funding on any criminal matter. Alternatively in most circumstances we are prepared to work on a fixed fee basis, with our fee being calculated on the amount of work necessary to prepare your case Initial Free 15-minute Consultation Where it is possible in criminal law cases, we aim to provide an initial telephone or email consultation to you. If we do consult with you we will advise you about – 1.Whether we can take the case on and our relevant experience. 2.Legal Aid and private funding benefits and options available. 3.Assistance in applying for legal aid where we are likely to accept instructions. 4.An outline of options in police interview only. We will not advise you on which option to adopt. 5. Retaining any evidence in support of your case. 6. Consequences of not attending the court or police station. 7. Referring you, if possible, to other firms for matters out of our specialism or if we cannot help.
